This morning the FDA issued warnings to 5 distributors of e-cigs and e-juice.
Press release here.
The "unsubstantiated claims" the FDA says the sites make are user/customer testimonials. As far as I know, none of these sites are marketing these as a smoking cessation device or tool. Granted, one of the sites is selling a vapable erectile dysfunction drug and that's NOT cool, but why take away the ability for me improve MY health by laying the groundwork to ban all e-cigarette products?
The FDA would rather I give my money to big tobacco (cigarettes) and big pharma (patches, gum, which DO NOT WORK) then use a device that has helped me PERSONALLY decrease the number of toxins I take into my body.
I have been vaping (almost exclusively) since March, 2010. My health has significantly improved. I am still addicted to nicotine. I've also cut about 4000 known dangerous toxins out of my nicotine usage.
