What are you doing with that big box of dog shit?

My wife ordered a gift card from Costco.com.  It was delivered yesterday but then promptly stolen from our front porch.

This is not the first time I've had something taken from my front door.  A $600 paintball gun went missing a year ago, thankfully, that package was insured.

It's time for Operation Honeypot

Step 1: Fill a box with dog shit.
Pretty self explanatory.  The only tough part was finding a shipping label to stick on there without it being TOO real looking so that the mail lady didn't carry it off.  Even if she is a bitch.

Step 2: Set up a security camera.  This was slightly more complicated.  I had a spare PC and webcam sitting around but didn't know what software to use that would record and upload videos to my FTP.  After a bit of research, I found a pretty awesome windows (and OSX) app called Vitamin D.  This software is, simply put, awesome.  While your webcam is constantly running, it only records clips when it detects motion.  Also, you can configure it to only record clips of what it recognizes as people!  And it's FREE.  The attached picture here doesn't do it justice, but I have crystal clear video at 1280x1024.

Step 3: Lay the bait and wait.  I realize that the camera is visible in the window there.  I've since moved it so it's more or less blocked from view.

Now, if only I could see the expression on the face of this worthless dick nose when he/she opens a box of dried up dog turds.

vapemail incoming

Some vapemail arrived yesterday and just in time too since I was down to the last dregs of my previous order.

From left to right:

Rawr Punch (free sample), Nutty Tobacco, and Poison from RAWRVapor.com

River of Slime (free sample) and Ecto Plasma from JuicyVapor.com

Unfortunately I'm still waiting on some new attys to get here that seem to have been lost by our inept postal service so I haven't yet sampled any of the Rawr juices or the River of Slime.  I have great faith in both of these vendors though so I'm sure I won't be disappointed.  I'm really really excited to try the Nutty Tobacco and Poison since Vapor Mike made the only tobacco juice that I ever enjoyed, called 'A Fresh Pack', which was supposed to be reminiscent of the aroma off a new pack of cigs.  Sadly, I only got to try that juice at vapefest in Philly before it was claimed by Jolly and never seen again.

I've got the Ecto loaded up in my J-tank that I got from Jason over at Electronicstix.com right now since I know I love it and don't mind dumping 3 mls at a time in there for my all day vape.   I've got to tone down my chain-vaping though since the Ecto has to last me through my trip this weekend to Vegas and I've already vaped a third of the bottle.

Speaking of Vegas...I hope we find some time to hang out with the fine folks from Pink Spot!  They've been really friendly and helpful with ideas and discounts for the upcoming trip.  And they make some tasty juices!

New to the blogroll

Just added Peter Payne's tumblr to my blogroll over there on the right.  Peter runs J-List, where Japanese toys, anime, and odds and ends can be purchased.  They also stock a really good selection of Japanese photobooks, of which I like the naughty ones.  I've been a fan of his for a long time.

Game of Thrones 16 bit RPG

The sometimes funny folks at College Humor made a 16 bit tribute to my favorite fantasy series of all time! WARNING: There are spoilers here if you haven't read the books (shame on you) or seen the HBO series!  Another WARNING: video contains 16-bit incest!  If this were an actual game I'd buy it in a second.
